INTRODUCTION

     In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe signifies an ability to see or understand the deeper spiritual meanings behind things, even when presented with evidence. Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary. For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary; and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna. Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail. Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance; the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing. It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience – concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation. Biblical Word

     THE VEIL – I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of his power. Although I am less than the least of all God’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Immanuel, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, accomplished in Immanuel our Lord. In him and through faith ib him we may approach God with freedom an confidence. I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for, which are your glory. Ephesians 3: 7-13 NIV

     Romans 16: 25-27 – Let us give glory to God! He is able to make you stand firm in your faith, according to the Good News I preach about Immanuel and according to the revelation of the secret truth which was hidden for long ages in the past. Now, however, that truth has been brought out into the open through the writings of the prophets; and by the command of the eternal God it is made known to all nations, so that all may believe and obey. To the only God, who alone is all wise, be glory through Immanuel forever! Amen. GNT

Significance

     Spiritual Blindness (One’s disbelief acts as a barrier to perceiving the truth) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe is a metaphorical expression used to describe a barrier that prevent someone from seeing or understanding spiritual truths, often associated with a lack of faith or unwillingness to believe, hindering their ability to perceive the reality of a higher power or spiritual message. A veil of unbelief can prevent someone from fully comprehending spiritual teachings or experiencing a deeper connection with God, the Devine. The mystery was not that Gentiles would become adopted but that the Gentiles would be placed at the same status with Jews into one family.
