INTRODUCTION

     In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe renders an individual into a deep spiritual sleep, where their spiritual eyes are blind, spiritual ears are deaf, and their hearts are insensitive to God. Now when His disciples had come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. Then Immanuel said to them, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.” And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have taken no bread.” But Immanuel, being aware of it, said to them, “O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves because you have brought no bread?

Do you not yet understand, or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up? Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up? How is it you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread? –but to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.      THE CURSE – “Who is it he is trying to teach? To whom is he explaining his message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just taken from the breast? For it is: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there. Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God will speak to this people, to whom he said, “This is the resting place, let the weary rest;” and “This is the place of repose” – but they would not listen. So then, the word of the LORD to them will become:  Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there – so that they will go and fall backward, captured.      Romans 9: 14-18 – Shall we say, then that God is unjust? Not at all. For he said to Moses, “I will have mercy on anyone I wish? So then, everything depends, not on what we humans want to do, but only on God’s mercy. For the scripture says to the king of Egypt, “I made you king in order to use you to show my power and to spread my fame over the whole world.” So then, God has mercy on anyone he wishes, and he makes stubborn anyone he wishes. Significance

     Spirit of Stubbornness (Not listening to God) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe hearing is an ability you’re born with, while listening is a learned skill that is developed over time with practice. You may not always be aware of the sounds you hear, but you’re always aware of the words of God you choose to listen to. When we make a regular habit to actively and intently focus our mind and conscience on receiving guidance and messages from God, going beyond just hearing words and instead seeking to understand the deeper meaning and intentions behind them. Seek and understand what God wants you to do and be in your life, by paying close attention to your inner guidance, studying scripture, praying, and considering your circumstances, ultimately trusting God is leading you towards a path aligned with His purpose for you.
