THE HIDDEN MEANING
INTRODUCTION
In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe is the psychological and spiritual state where an oppressed person or group begins to believe the lies, stereotypes, and negative messages told about them by the dominant group. And war broke out in heaven: Michel and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Immanuel have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. DISEASE – Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation – but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father. Hebrews 2: 14-18 – Since the children, as he calls them, are people of flesh and blood, Immanuel himself became like them and shared their human nature. He did this so that through his death he might destroy the Devil, who has the power over death, and in this way set free those who were slaves all their live because of their fear of death. For it is clear that it is not the angels that he helps. Instead, he helps the descendants of Abraham. This means that he had to become like his people in every way, in order to be their faithful and merciful High Priest in his service to God, so that the people’s sins would be forgiven. And now he can help those who are tempted, because he himself was tempted and suffered. GNT
Significance
Psychological Warfare (The Lies – accepting dehumanization as, just how things are) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe warns against being slaves of fear or negative, restrictive thoughts. Spiritually, dehumanization is the refusal to see “the face of God” in everyone, especially those we disagree with or dislike. It rejects the belief that every human possesses a soul-level dignity that cannot be earned or lost. As famously noted “Evil begins when you begin to treat people as things.” Dehumanization turns a person into a tool, a label, or an object, which breaks our connection to them. It is considered a spiritual ailment often rooted in fear, pride, or hatred. By “othering” someone, we create a mental barrier that shuts down empathy and compassion. When you dehumanize another, you diminish your own humanity and spirit, not just theirs.
