INTRODUCTION

     In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe is a broad concept that involves a sense of connection to something greater than oneself, and a search for meaning in life. Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned – (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Immanuel, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Immanuel.) Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. Biblical Word

     GRACE – Let the peace of Immanuel rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Immanuel dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Immanuel, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3: 15-17 NIV

     Philippians 2: 1-4 – Your life in Immanuel makes you strong, and his love comforts you. You have fellowship with the Spirit, and you have kindness and compassion for one another. I urge you, then, to make me completely happy by having the same thoughts, sharing the same love, and being one in soul and mind. Don’t do anything from selfish ambition or from a cheap desire to boast, but be humble toward one another, always considering others better than yourselves. And look out for one another’s interests, not just for your own. GNT

Significance

     Spirituality (Extends us love, forgiveness, and knowing God through Immanuel, in spite of our wrongs and shortcomings) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe a spiritual life can be lead to better physical and mental health, increased compassion, and strengthened relationships. Involving the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something more to being human than a sense of connection to something greater than oneself, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic nature relates to the universe and the life form that did not originate on earth, while divine nature relates to a god or a god’s nature.
