SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL
THE HIDDEN MEANING
In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than ourselves, something more to being human than when we see, hear, touch, smell, or taste something and that the greater whole of which we are part is divine in nature. “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall I wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6: 25-34 NKJV
PRAISE – But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 1 Timothy 6: 6-8 NIV
Philippians 4: 10-13 – In my life in union with Lord it is a great joy to me that after so long a time you once more had the chance of showing that you care for me. I don’t mean that you had stopped caring for me – you just had no chance to show it. And I am not saying this because I feel neglected, for I have learned to be satisfied with what I have I know what it is to be in need and what it is to have more than enough. I have learned this secret, so that anywhere, at any time, I am content, whether I am full or hungry, whether I have too much or too little. I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Immanuel gives me. GNT
Godliness (Trusting God to provide for our needs while being content with what He supplies) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe the secret behind every godly man and woman is their belief in the truth that they have been forgiven. Their godliness stem from the communication of truth and knowledge from God to His children on earth, suited to their language and understanding. They are believers who believe and trust God’s Word. Reflecting the nature of God in the course of everyday life.
