THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

     In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe identifies any version of the teaching that denies the beautiful message of God’s Unconditional Love and says you have to do something to be given the right to become God’s children apart from believing in the name Immanuel and take responsibility for what happens – good or bad, is a false gospel. But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth. Genesis 11: 5-9 NKJV

Biblical Word

     BABEL – Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you habor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. James 3: 14-16 NIV

     1 Timothy 1: 3-7 – … Some people there are teaching false doctrines, and you must order them to stop. Tell them to give up those legends and those long lists of ancestors, which only produce arguments; they do not serve God’s plan, which is known by faith. The purpose of this order is to arouse the love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and a genuine faith. Some people have turned away from these and have lost their way in foolish discussions. They want to be teachers of God’s law, but they do not understand their own words or the matters about which they speak with so much confidence. GNT

Significance

     Distorting the Message from God (False Gospel) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe all things are done according to God’s plan and decision; and God chose us to be his own people in union with Immanuel because of his own purpose, based on what he had decided from the very beginning. Let us, then, whoever have faith that God exist and rewards those who seek him, acknowledge Immanuel. You  became God’s people when you heard the true message, the Good News that brought the adoption into God’s family. You believed in Immanuel, and God put his stamp of ownership on you by giving you the spiritual gift he had promised. The Spiritual Gifts from God is the guarantee that we shall receive what God has promised his people, and this assures us that God will transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God – what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.
