SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL

THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe describes a person or behavior that conscientiously goes against the proper ideas and beliefs about how to behave in a way that is considered right and good by majority of people. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. 1 John 5: 14-17 NKJV

Biblical Word

SIN – Why did you despise the word of the LORD by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. … You did it in secret, but I will do this thing in broad daylight before all Israel. Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.” 2 Samuel  12: 9; 12-13 NIV

Reference

James 4: 14-17 – You don’t even know what your life tomorrow will be! You are like a puff of smoke, which appears for a moment and then disappears. What you should say is this: “If the Lord is willing, we will live and do this or that.” But now you are proud, and you boast; all such boasting is wrong. So then, if we do not do the good we know we should do, we are guilty of sin. GNT

Significance

Immoral Behavior – We at VAL-TE’ also believe that if you want to enjoy life and wish to see good times, you must keep from speaking without regard for morality, and stop telling lies. You must turn away from what’s immoral and do it in an honest and principled way; you must strive for what guides us to tell the truth, keep our promises, or help someone in need. For the Lord watches over the righteous and listens to their prayers; but he opposes those who do what is unethical.
