THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

In this next scripture, we at VAL-TE’ will express what my family home training meant by saying, “Take care of our own.” Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another , and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10: 23-25 NKJV

Biblical Word

CHURCH – All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2: 44-47 NIV

Reference

Matthew 18: 19-20 – “And I tell you more: whenever two of you on earth agree about anything you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, I am there with them.” GNT

Significance

Coalition of Believers – Being born and brought up in the 60’s, reflected those who believed in God extended beyond the walls of the church building. It were the common love for God that exhibited our church community, meeting the needs of others. Again, we at VAL-TE’ believe that there are just two kinds of people, those who believe in God or the moral turpitude of the community.
