THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

It is through my relationship with God, that I share in this next scripture. When the Lord saw her and said to her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother. Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has risen up among us”; and, “God has visited His people.” Luke 7: 13-16 NKJV

Biblical Word

PRAISE – The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The LORD watches over all who love him but all the wicked he will destroy. Psalm 145: 18-20 NIV

Reference

Hebrews 13: 15-16 – Let us, then, always offer praise to God as our sacrifice through Jesus, which is the offering presented by lips that confess him as Lord. Do not forget to do good and to help one another, because these are the sacrifices that please God. GNT

Significance

Recognition to God – Let me first acknowledge what a friend defined as a Mountain Top experience, kept the lights on in my room for three consecutive nights has led me here. Of course, there are some things we have all have taken for granted as a coincidence, honestly because we cannot explain it, still should be recognized. There are two old sayings I believe explains who God is: to give credit where it is due and also there are no coincidences in life. Exhibited by those who are given something as a token of recognition of excellence in a certain field, those who begin their acceptance speech with giving the true credit where it is due, recognition to God.
