THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe emphasizes that the accomplishments and recognition gained in this life, often emphasizing success in areas like career, wealth, and social standing are temporary and ultimately fade away. Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, So, the LORD pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandment s to do them. Psalm 103: 1-18 NKJV

Biblical Word

GRASS – Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it. Sins. James 4: 13-17 NIV

Reference

Ecclesiastes 6: 7-12 – We do all our work just to get something to eat, but we never have enough. How are the wise better off than fools? What good does it do the poor to know how to face life? It is useless; it is like chasing the wind. It is better to be satisfied with what you have than to be always wanting something else. Everything that happens was already determined long ago, and we all know that you cannot argue with someone who is stronger than you.  The longer you argue, the more useless it is, and you are no better off. How can anyone know what is best for us in this short, useless life of ours –a life that passes like a shadow? How can we know what will happen in the world after we die? GNT

Significance

Human Experience (A concept that can be easily defined or under stood from a single perspective) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe this awareness can lead to a deeper appreciation for the present moment, and a sense of urgency to make the most of our limited time. In essence, the human condition is a concept that is intricate, difficult to understand, and has my different aspects or sides. Offering insights into the fundamental aspects of what it means to be human, including our physical, mental, and emotional experiences. It involves the universal human condition, such as birth, growth, pain, and death, as well as a wide range of feelings and motivations. Uses the imagery of grass and flowers to illustrate how quickly humans and the achievements fade, while the word of God remains forever.
