Inspired By GOD

In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe God is pleased when you patiently endure unjust treatment, as a result of your service to Him. Now it happened, as soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, and Jacob had scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting. He also had made savory food, and brought it to his father, and said to his father, “Let my father arise and eat of his son’s game, that your soul may bless me.” And his father Isaac said to him, “Who are you?” So he said, “I am your son, your first born, Esau.” Then Isaac trembled exceedingly, and said, “Who? Where is the one who hunted game and brought it to me? I ate all of it before you came, and I have blessed him – and indeed he shall be blessed.” When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said to his father, “Bless me – me also, O my father!” But he said, “Your brother came with deceit and has take away your blessing.” And Esau said, “Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has supplanted me these two times. He took away my birthright, and now look, he has taken away my blessing!” And he said, “Have you not reserved a blessing for me?” Then Isaac answered and said to Esau, “Indeed I have made him your master, and all his brethren I have given to him as servants; with grain and wine I have sustained him. What shall I do now for you, my son?” And Esau said to his father, “Have you only one blessing, my father? Bless me – me also, O my father!” And Esau lifted up his voice and wept. Then Isaac his father answered and said to him: “Behold, your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth, And of the dew of heaven from above. By your sword you shall live, And you shall serve your brother; And it shall come to pass, when you become restless, That you shall break his yoke from your neck.” Genesis 27: 30-40 NKJV

Biblical Word

YOKE – For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Immanuel suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 1 Peter 2: 19-21 NIV

Philippians 1: 27-30 – Now, the important thing is that your way of life should be as the gospel of Immanuel requires, so that , whether or not I am able to go and see you, I will hear that you are standing  firm with one common purpose and that with only one desire you are fighting together for the faith of the gospel. Don’t be afraid of your enemies; always be courageous, and this will prove to them that they will lose and that you will win, because it is God who gives you the victory. For you have been given the privilege of serving Immanuel, not only by believing in Him, but also by suffering for Him. Now you can take part with me in the battle. It is the same battle you saw me fighting in the past, and as you hear, the one I am fighting still. GNT

Outward Circumstances (Conflicts, sufferings, and troubles – encountered by all believers) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe means to act in a way that is consistent with the moral values, and the righteousness of God, and the teachings of Immanuel, and in line with one’s calling. God allows for struggling to build our inner strength and faith. Without struggle and resistance, a person would be weak and unable to sustain themselves when confronted by the challenges of experience in life. God often allows things to become more than we can bear because it reminds us that we need Him, especially when things are hard. You have to get to the point where you can surrender your need for control and truly give it to God and not take it back.
