SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL

THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe see the source of our conflict with ourselves, our conflict with God, and the source of our conflict resolution. Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4: 1-10 NKJV

Biblical Word

HUMBLE – On that day you will not be put to shame for all the wrongs you have done to me, because I will remove from this city those who rejoice in their pride. Never again will you be haughty on my holy hill. But I will leave within you the meek and humble, who trust in the name of the LORD. Zephaniah 3: 11-12 NIV

Reference

Romans 6: 15-23 – What, then? Shall we sin, because we are not under law but under God’s grace? By no means! Surely you know that when you surrender yourselves as slaves to obey someone, you are in fact the slaves of the master you obey – either of sin, which results in death, or of obedience, which results in being put right with God. But thanks be to God! For though at one time you were slaves to sin, you have obeyed with all your heart the truths found in the teaching you received. You were set free from sin and became the slaves to righteousness. (I use everyday language because of the weakness of your natural selves.) At one time you surrendered yourselves entirely as slaves to impurity and wickedness for wicked purposes. In the same way you must now surrender yourselves entirely as slaves of righteousness for holy purposes. When you were the slaves of sin, you were free from righteousness. What did you gain from doing the things that you are now ashamed of? The result of those things is death! But now you have been set free from sin and are the slaves of God. Your gain is a life fully dedicated to him, and the result is eternal life. For sin pays its wage – death; but God’s free gift is eternal life in union with Immanuel our Lord. GNT

Significance

The Meek (Feeling that you are NOT better and NO more important than other people) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe we must acknowledge that all of our plans are dependent on God, and He can change them at any moment. Reminding us that our faith that God exist and rewards those who seek Him, is justified (demonstrated to be true) by our works. These works do not get us into paradise, they only show that true faith in all who believe in His name “Immanuel.”

  1. I was just as enthralled by your work as you were. Your sketch is elegant, and your written content is sophisticated. However, you seem concerned about potentially delivering something questionable soon. I’m confident you’ll resolve this issue quickly and return to your usual high standards.
