SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL
THE HIDDEN MEANING
In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe refers to the blessing in which has been bestowed upon us, that we have been made instruments in the hands of God to bring about this great work. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. 2 Timothy 2: 20-26 NKJV
ANOINTED – Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Immanuel. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. I call God as my witness that it was in order to spare you that I did not return to Corinth. Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm. 2 Corinthians 1: 21-24 NIV
Ephesians 2: 8-10 – For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift, so that no one can boast about it. God has made us what we are, and in our union with Immanuel he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do. GNT
God’s Instruments (We Are His Instruments of Peace and Joy and Rightness with God) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe: Where there is extreme dislike, let us be willing to show others the same love you desire to receive; Where there is an act that damages or hurts, the action of forgiving or being forgiven for an error or offense; Where there is to say and do things which cause distrust among one another – which results in arguments and fights, a love that is beyond the good feelings upon the outset of a relationship; Where there is simply not knowing something – not being sure, the capacity to believe in God for extraordinary deeds; Where there is artificial barriers of society placing us against ourselves, the opportunity to experience an intimate relationship with God; Where there is a feeling unhappy or showing unhappiness or emotional pain, God uses us as His tools for the sometimes delicate work of sharing His goodness with others.
