SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL
THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION
In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe identify those who always look back at who you use to be, in becoming what God created you to be. So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, les you be destroyed.” Then Lot said to them, “Please, no, my lords! Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my live; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die. See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.” And he said to him, “See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you; have spoken. Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar. Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. Genesis 19: 17-26 NKJV
Biblical Word
LOOK BACK – As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Immanuel even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Immanuel and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Immanuel, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Immanuel. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves. It is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Immanuel to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2: 1-10 NIV
Reference
Colossians 1: 21-23 – At one time you were far away from God and were his enemies because of the evil things you did and thought. But now, by means of the physical death of his Son, God has made you his friends, in order to bring you, holy, pure, and faultless, into his presence. You must, of course, continue faithful on a firm and sure foundation, and must not allow yourselves to be shaken from the hope you gained when you heard the gospel. It is of this gospel that I Paul, became a servant – this gospel which has been preached to everybody in the world. GNT
Significance
Never Being Good Enough – We at VAL-TE’ also believe God knew what He was doing, and He made each of us exactly the way He wanted us to be. Moreover, every single one of you are unique in their own way; no one else in the whole world is exactly like either of you. Even before we were born, God knew all about each and every single one of us, and He has a unique plan for who He created each one to become. No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists, in order to believe in the name Immanuel (which means, God is with us), which is a Gift from God.
