SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL

THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe explains what happened between Genesis 1:1, and Genesis 1:2. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light” and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. Genesis 1: 1-5 NKJV

Biblical Word

FORMLESS AND VOID STATE – “Your own conduct and actions have brought this upon you. This is your punishment. How bitter it is! How it pierces to the heart!” “My people are fools; they do not know me. They are senseless children; they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how to do good.” I look at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone. I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying. I looked, and there were no people; every bird in the sky had flown away. I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the LORD, before his fierce anger. Jeremiah 4: 18, 22-26 NIV

Reference

Isaiah 45: 18-19 – The LORD created the heavens – he is the one who is God! He formed and made the earth – he made it firm and lasting. He did not make it a desolate waste, but a place for people to live. It is he who says, “I am the LORD, and there is no other god. I have not spoken in secret or kept my purpose hidden. I did not require the people of Israel to look for me in a desolate waste. I am the LORD, and I speak the truth; I make known what is right. GNT

Significance

A State of Disorder and Confusion (Carnal Minded) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe God, who made the world and everything in it, is Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples made by human hands. Nor does he need anything that we can supply by working for him, since it is he himself who give life and breath and everything else to everyone. From one human being he created all races of people and made them live throughout the whole earth. He himself fixed beforehand the exact times and the limits of the places where they would live. He did this so that they would look for him, and perhaps find him as they felt around for him. Yet God is actually not far from any one of us; as someone has said, ‘In him we live and move and exist.’
