SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL

THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe share our family’s idea, of what’s immoral. Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 11 Corinthians 4: 16-18 NKJV

Biblical Word

THE FLESH – I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. Romans 8: 18-21 NIV

Reference

Hebrews 2: 14-18 – Since the children, as he calls them, are people of flesh and blood, Immanuel himself became like them and shared their human nature. He did this so that through his death he might destroy the Devil, who has the power over death, and in this way set free those who were slaves all their lives because of their fear of death. For it is clear that it is not the angels that he helps. Instead, he helps the descendants of Abraham. This means that he had to become like his people in every way, in order to be their faithful and merciful High Priest in his service to God, so that the people’s sins would be forgiven. And now he can help those who are tempted, because he himself was tempted and suffered. GNT

Significance

Immorality (referring to the things that are wrong) – We at VAL-TE’ give thanks to God, who does this through Immanuel! This, then, is our situation with respect to circumstances: though we are many, we are one body in union with Immanuel, and we are all joined to each other as different parts of one body. So we are to use our different gifts in accordance with the love that God has given us. If our gift is to speak God’s message, we should do it according to the faith that God exists; if it is to serve, we should serve; if it is to teach, we should teach; if it is to encourage others, we should do so. Whoever shares with others should do it generously; whoever has authority should work hard; whoever show kindness to others should do it cheerfully.
