SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL
THE HIDDEN MEANING
In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ share our ownership of what happens, as a result of our choices and actions. Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5: 13-16 NKJV
CONFESS – When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. Many of those who believed now came openly confessed their evil deeds. A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power. Acts 19: 17-20 NIV
1 John 1: 8-10 – If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no truth in us. But if we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right: he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing. If we say that we have not sinned, we make a liar out of God, and his word is not in us. GNT
Being Accountable – We at VAL-TE’ believe that taking responsibility for your actions, create trust and dependability. We at VAL-TE’ also believe, accepting responsibility will give you the power to make positive changes with your life. You can identify things that you want or need to do and place them on your list. Identifying needed better ways a person behaves or acts, and placing them on your list will help you accomplish specific changes that you want to make in your life.
