SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL
THE HIDDEN MEANING
Scriptures of encouragement. We at VAL-TE’ believe: “we are all people of faith from all walks of life, existing with same spiritual breath.” For as we have many members in one body, but all the members have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12: 1-8 NKJV
EXHORT – If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Philippians 2: 1-4 NIV
Ephesians 4: 15-16 – Instead, by speaking the truth in a spirit of love, we must grow up in every way to Christ, who is the head. Under his control all the different parts of the body is held together by every joint with which it is provided. So when each separate part works as it should, the whole body grows and builds itself up through love. GNT
Encourage – We also believe speaks of a motivation for the people of faith to understand their moral and social responsibility to teach at least one person in need, makes a enormous difference in the good for all. Leaving no room for error, we regard the Spiritual gift of exhorting God gives to people of faith, as opportunities for sharing a Biblical perspective on the situation.
