THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

These next scriptures are a perfect example of God’s people that we at VAL-TE’ represent, and respect for their unconditional love. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provisions for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. Romans 12: 11-14 NKJV

Biblical Word

LIGHT – This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1: 5-7 NIV

Reference

Romans 13: 11-13 – You must do this, because you know that the time has come for you to wake up from your sleep. For the moment when we will be saved is closer now than it was when we first believed. The night is nearly over, day is almost here. Let us stop doing the things that belong to the dark, and let us take up weapons for fighting in the light. Let us conduct ourselves properly, as people who live in the light of day ……. GNT

Significance

What is Good and the Truth – It is the VAL-TE’ perspective, believers are to consider troubles and difficulties encountered by all believers, as opportunities. Having watched a childhood friend take control of her father’s construction company, designated to be taken over by his son, after his suffering a stroke as his on and off again secretary. Exhibits the character I admired in her so very much as being the light, maintaining the business that overlooked her twice, which enabled her father to return after 1 year and a half of therapy. Not allowing her brother to struggle in his efforts to run the company, she set aside her feelings and turned what was bad into good.
