INTRODUCTION

               In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe means we have stopped fighting to hold on to life, forgiven ourselves or others, and are calmly surrendering to the natural transition of death without fear or struggle. ”These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. “And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.                LETTING GO – For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the diving wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Ephesians 2: 14-18 NIV

               Philippians 4: 5-9 – Show a gentle attitude toward everyone. The Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. And God’s peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Immanuel. In conclusion, my friends, fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserves praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable. Put into practice what you learned and received from me, both from my words and from my actions. And the God who gives us peace will be with you. GNT

Significance

               The Gift of Peace (A deeply peaceful acceptance) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe peace from God transcends all understanding, bringing calmness of body, mind, and spirit in all of our human experiences. It means an individual stops using their energy to control or resist the inevitable, allowing ourselves to relax, forgive, and transition peacefully. Acknowledging that we have done all that we can, and trusting the natural conclusion of our own journey. When a person stops fighting, that physical and emotional energy is freed up, allowing the mind and spirit to rest. It represents a transition from fear (holding on) to faith or trust (letting go). Instead of being afraid, we have consciously relaxed into the reality that our time has come, choosing comfort over suffering.
