THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION

In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe describes the process of choosing a specific set of beliefs or values (like faith in God, a sense of purpose, or mindfulness) to act as a filter, shaping how we interpret events, make decisions, and view reality. Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.” “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Luke 12: 22-34 NKJV

Biblical Word

WORDS OF UNDERSTANDING – For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that  you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1: 9-14 NIV

Reference

Proverbs 1: 1-6 – The proverbs of Solomon, son of David and king of Israel. Here are proverbs that will help you recognize wisdom and good advice, and understand sayings with deep meaning. They can teach you how to live intelligently and how to be honest, just, and fair. They can make an inexperienced person clever and teach young people how to be resourceful. These proverbs can even add to the knowledge of the wise and give guidance to the educated, so that they can understand the hidden meanings of proverbs and the problems that the wise raise. GNT

Significance

Faith Based Lens (Viewing life’s events, challenges, and decisions through the framework of spiritual beliefs (such as God’s promises) rather than just on literal aspects) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe it acts as a corrective lens, shifting focus from fear, lack, or human perspective to hope, purpose, and trust in God. Instead of focusing only on problems, we prioritize what our faith says about a situation. Challenges are viewed as temporary, with a belief that God is working it out for good. Decisions are  made based on principles like love, forgiveness, and integrity rather than just focusing on outward actions. It recognizes the spiritual component of life, not just our physical health or emotional state, often incorporating prayer or scripture for guidance. It encourages gratitude and hope over negativity, even during difficult times. It is choosing to interpret daily experiences through the lens of spiritual truth to find peace, purpose, and direction.
