INTRODUCTION

In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe means making your own personal journey from a state of spiritual “slavery” to freedom, following a path of transformation guided by God. Now after six days Immanuel took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses, and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Immanuel, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Immanuel came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Immanuel only. Now as they came down from the mountain, Immanuel commanded them , saying, “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the Dead.” Matthew 17: 1-9 NKJV

Biblical Word

EXODUS – Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Immanuel. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Immanuel. When Immanuel saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Luke 5: 18-20 NIV

Reference

Mark 2: 1-12 – A few days later Immanuel went back to Capernaum, and the news spread that he was at home. So many people came together that there was no room left, not even out in front of the door. Immanuel was preaching the message to them when four men arrived, carrying a paralyzed man to Immanuel. Because of the crowd, however, they could not get the man to him. So they had made a hole in the roof right above the place where Immanuel was. When they had made an opening, they let the man down, lying on his mat. Seeing how much faith they had, Immanuel said to the paralyzed man, “My son, your sins are forgiven.” Some teachers of the law who were sitting there thought to themselves, “How does he dare talk like this? This is blasphemy! God is the only one who can forgive sins!” At once Immanuel knew what they were thinking, so he said to them, “Why do you think such things? Is it easier to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven, or to say, ‘Get up, pick up your mat, and walk?’ I will prove to you, then, that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, pick up your mat and go home!” While they all watched, the man got up, picked up his mat, and hurried away. They were all completely amazed and praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!” GNT

Significance

Transformative Journey (Leaving behind your old life to enter into a new one with a spiritual purpose) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe is a powerful way to describe my personal transformation – leaving behind the negative patterns and limitations of your past to embrace a new, fulfilling, and free way of life. This represents a state of being where you feel trapped, limited, or unhappy. It is your “old self” or current life situation that you find unfulfilling. This could mean being stuck in bad habits, a negative mindset, an unhealthy relationship, a draining job, or feeling generally lost and without purpose. It is a state of spiritual “slavery” where you cannot be your true, best self. This is the process of escaping that negative situation or mindset. It is the conscious decision and action to leave behind what is holding you back. This “rescue” often feels guided by a higher power (or a strong inner conviction) and can involve significant challenges, self-discovery, and difficult changes. It’s the journey of letting go and moving towards something better. This is the desired new state of being you reach. It represents a life of peace, purpose, freedom, and fulfillment. It’s not necessarily a physical location but a state of spiritual maturity, inner peace, and living authentically according to your values. You have moved beyond your limitations and found genuine happiness and connection.
