THE HIDDEN MEANING
INTRODUCTION
In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe it’s believing in something beyond yourself, like God, spiritual principles, or religious teachings – and trusting that this belief will lead you to a meaningful life, rather than just following strict rules. And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” Then Immanuel answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Immanuel rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Immanuel privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Immanuel said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. MOVING MOUNTAINS – If I speak in the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. Significance
Faith Based (With faith, we can move mountains and achieve the impossible) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe it involves a personal whole-person commitment that includes your mind, heart, and will, leading to actions and a life guided by this trust. This isn’t just a belief you hold in your head; it’s a way of life that is lived out through your actions and your understanding of the world. It’s more than just acknowledging that God exists; it’s a deep confidence that He is real, trustworthy, and will fulfill His promises, leading you to live your life accordingly.
