SEPARATING THE SPIRITUAL FROM THE PHYSICAL
THE HIDDEN MEANING

INTRODUCTION
In these next scriptures, we at VAL-TE’ believe the moment God became a human being in Immanuel (God with us); it shows that Immanuel, though a Spiritual being, took on human form to reveal God’s core qualities, that define who God is and how God acts bring a new relationship of grace and truth, and offer a path for humanity to become children of God through faith. I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me My be in them, and I in them.” John 17: 14-26 NKJV
Biblical Word
IN THE WORLD, NOT OF THE WORLD – He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – children born not of natural decent, nor of human decent or a husband’s will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1: 10-14 NIV
Reference
Hebrews 2: 14-17 – Since the children, as he calls them, are people of flesh and blood. Immanuel himself became like them and shared their human nature. He did this so that through his death he might destroy the Devil , who has the power over death, and in this way set free those who were slaves all their lives because of their fear of death. For it is clear that it is not the angels that he helps. Instead, he helps the descendants of Abraham. This means that he had to become like his people in every way, in order to be their faithful and merciful High Priest in his service to God, so that the people’s sins would be forgiven. And now he can help those who are temped, because he himself was tempted and suffered. GNT
Significance
Children of God (A spiritual adoption, giving believers the status and rights of sons and daughters in God’s family) – We at VAL-TE’ also believe means Immanuel’s full identification with humanity – experiencing birth, growth, temptation, suffering, and death – was a necessary part of saving a person from what is spiritually wrong with them, enabling Him to sympathize with and intercede for humanity before God. The spiritual belief that God can be found within and expressed through human life, and physical reality was not a dream or illusion but a true sharing of human life, making Him an effective representative and mediator for people, failing to live up to one’s potential for good to God.
